The Trinity is a much loved Surry Hills institution, bringing the local community together since 1882. Our brief was to contemporise the venue but also maintain the pub’s charm, history and character.

The Approach
The brand created is a celebration of pub culture, the kind of place you can come to any night of the week for a diverse range of offerings - come and grab a great pub feed, enjoy an after work drink or have a punt on the races.
In keeping with the pub’s history it reflects its clientele’s ‘mad about sports’ attitude, it feels like an Australian take on a Boston Sports Bar and a mecca for sports fans. The brand channels an Aussie larrikin spirit, always keen for a laugh and a couple of beers with mates. It maintains its approachable and welcoming charm and continues to be an established focal point for the local community.

Within the Surry Hills community, The Trinity has established itself as a local institution in the Surry Hills community. The brand both ties in with the history of the venue & area while at the same time giving them a strong position & point of difference from their competitors.
